My most recent project has been
working on the nursery. There is a lot of work to get done and I will post
pictures along the way. Our nursery will be completely DIY – well for the most
part – and we will just see how amazing it turns out and how you can create a
cute little nursery on very little. I will start off with saying our furniture
was hand-me-downs. Our gracious neighbors gave us the entire set which includes
the crib and two dressers. These three
pieces are actually being painted – we hired out the work. The baby is due in
three weeks exactly! Our furniture is not completed and the nursery is a mess
but check out the art work I have created… this is our first step! (I apologize for the bad pictures taking skills).

Pinterest/Blogging
So... I am still getting everything situated with all my accounts,
however once this is done I will get all my accounts linked up and things
going! I am working on my business plan, or would like to start working on my
business plan. I hope to have most things situated and ready to go before the
baby comes but I am not sure if I can do this with everything else going on,
including my full time job, my husband, my dogge, and my life! But here it
goes!! The first step is me trying to put together a blogging schedule. I would
like to try to touch basis with everyone once a week (hopefully... So again,
here it goes!

Holiday Project
I need to officially set some time aside to
officially work on my projects including my blog and Etsy. I have not updated
my blog in quite a while so here I go today…
This project is a simple easy Holiday Project.
Materials Needed:
Bottom Cut of the Holiday TreeRibbon
Marker
Drill
Saw
Again, this is so simple. All you need to do it
use your saw to cut a thin slice from the bottom of the tree trunk (you may need to
cut a couple slices until you have a nice clean cut). Once you have the slice
cut you will need to let it dry out for about a week or until the slice is
dried out. Drill a hole in the slice of tree trunk so you can put the ribbon
through, and then write whatever you want on the slice of tree trunk. I like to
put which year the ornament is from. Now you have a new ornament for your
Holiday Tree.
